Olfary Gutiérrez, Soprano

Olfary Gutierrez graduated from the Mannes College of Music with a Professional Degree in Voice Performance. She also holds a degree in Classical Percussion and Music Pedagogy from the Conservatory of Tolima and the University of Caldas in her native Colombia. Ms. Gutiérrez has been involved with Hispanic Pastoral Music Ministry since 2001, when she became the Director of the Spanish Choir at the Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart. She has also worked as an instructor for Cantor School through the Newark Chapter of the National Association of Pastoral Musicians. Currently Ms. Gutiérrez serves the Cathedral Basilica as Coordinator of Hispanic Music Ministry and as Cantor.
